Neapolitan has just received two new flavors with brand new associated food items, effects, and uses! The two losing flavors from the last flavor vote, Adzuki and Mint, are now available in-game! Also check out a sneak-peak at the next three flavors and participate in a vote to decide which comes first!

New Flavors

Mint

Mint is the first of the two new flavors. Mint can be found in small ponds in Mountain biomes, occasionally near Spruce trees. Mint Ice Cream and Cake can be crafted, as well as a Mint Milkshake which steals the effects from the nearest entity and gives them to the player! Mint Chops can also be made with mint and mutton, as well as other recipes such as Mint Chocolate and Mint Candies.

Mint foods give the user an effect called Berserking, which levels up as entities are killed. For each level of Berserking, the player gets their damage and defense slightly boosted. This may need to be adjusted and balanced in the future so feel free to share thoughts after testing it. Up to four mint plants can be placed in one block, and once fully grown they have a chance to help boost the growth of nearby crops.

Adzuki

Adzuki is the second new flavor, found naturally in small patches in Forest biomes. Adzuki has the typical ice cream and cake recipes, and a milkshake recipe that gives the user's effects to the nearest entity upon use. Alongside those, Adzuki Buns, Adzuki Stew, Adzuki Curry, and Strawberry Bean Bonbons can be made with Adzuki Beans!

Adzuki foods provide an effect called Harmony! Harmony causes nearby monsters to panic and run away from you when active. Adzuki can be grown by planting Adzuki Beans in dirt or grass, and harvesting it when it is at stage six. If an animal walks through the Adzuki Sprouts, they will flower, and produce more Adzuki Beans when at their final stage.

Adzuki Beans can also be crafted into Magic Beans, which creates a large beanstalk covered in thorns, allowing the user to created barricades to help them escape.

Extra Content

Within this update were a large sum of other small additions and changes! Banana Stalks can now be crafted into Carved Banana Stalks, allowing for more decoration options. Banana Milkshakes no longer remove a random effect, instead that was given to Milk Bottles. Banana Milkshakes now swap the effects of the user with the nearest entity. Several textures were also updated.

Flavor Vote 2

Finally, there is a brand new flavor vote! Introducing Bubblegum, Cinnamon, and Mango! All three of these new flavors are in unique environments untouched by previous flavors. All flavors will be added eventually, the vote just decides which comes first!

Bubblegum resides on the undersides of the floating islands of the End, Cinnamon can be found sticking up in the flaming pools of lava in the Nether, and Mangos can be found in the depths of the Caves.
