Hello everyone! To reduce confusion, we are doing a slight rebranding to content not directly involved with Abnormals mods. The brainstorming discord and Cameron's YouTube channel, formerly known as "Minecraft Abnormals", will be renamed to "Minecraft Ideas Academy", with a shiny new logo and colour scheme!

Clarification

If you aren't sure of the difference between the two, Minecraft Ideas Academy, previously "Minecraft Abnormals", is a Minecraft community on Discord that Team Abnormals derived from. Nowadays, the connection to that server is rather distant, which is why we're rebranding. The Ideas Academy will be a hub for posting art, brainstorming, and discussing Minecraft. Cameron will continue to run his YouTube channel that posts videos about Minecraft design and arguments surrounding it.

Team Abnormals, on the other hand, is a group of modders who all derived from the Ideas Academy discord server, but have since moved on. The Abnormals brand has become widely known more for its mods than the Discord server and YouTube channel, which are unrelated to the team and run by Cameron. This split hopes to makes the distinction between them less vague!

Changes

Some other things will be changing, but not much. Abnormals related sites and profiles will transition from the purple-gold color scheme to the blue-green color scheme. The Ideas Academy will don a brand new lightbulb branding and fresh new color scheme. The server-boost crossover to get access to Team Abnormals' betas will no longer be used, as both servers have the capability to exceed level three, and the bot is often buggy and a bother to deal with. In addition, we also have a lovely new site we can use for all sorts of things, including more blogs!

These changes may take a bit of getting used to, but we hope people can understand why they are being made!
